Cassiano has been working at Lacan since 2021 and is responsible for finding new business opportunities for Lacan's investment vehicles. Before Lacan he held the position of Executive Director at Golden Forest (2020-2021). Prior to that, Cassiano was the Head of Forest Business Unit at Suzano Papel from 2014 to 2016. Cassiano was also Forest Manager at Klabin in the states of Paraná, São Paulo and Minas Gerais at Klabin from 2008 to 2013 and at Masisa do Brasil from 2005 to 2008.

Cassiano holds a bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná, and MBA degree in Business Management from IBMEC Business School.
