Mato Grosso

The state of Mato Grosso is the “heart of Brazilian agribusiness”. It is the country's largest producer of grains, among them maize and  the cultivation base for the production of ethanol. Due to its geographic and productive configuration, the region is strategic for the development of forest assets, such as biomass, used by diverse segments.

Why Mato Grosso?

> Brazil's largest grain producer;

> Increasing demand for biomass by the corn ethanol industry and others;

> Strategic region for the transportation of ethanol to the country's North and Northeast;

> Global demand for biofuels, instead of fossil energy sources.
