Geraldo has been working at Lacan since 2012 and is responsible for the forest operations in the field. Before Lacan he has worked as a forest manager at Votorantim Celulose e Papel, now Suzano, for twenty years. Prior to that, he served as forest supervisor and regional manager at Champion Papel e Celulose (1978-1989), company later incorporated by International Paper.

Geraldo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Engineering and a Post-graduate degree in  Enviromental and Forest Systems Management from Paraná Federal University. He also holds an MBA degree in Strategic Agribusiness Management from Getúlio Vargas Foundation in Ribeirão Preto (FGV-Ribeirão Preto).
